EnsembleWriter for Schools: The School Plan
The school plan puts everyone at your school on EnsembleWriter Pro for $80 per month, however many people join.
What It Includes
Everyone on the plan gets Pro: unlimited pages per screenplay and unlimited shots in the shot list. Each person keeps their own account and their own scripts.
Starting a School Plan
- Sign in with your school email address.
- Open My Account and choose Set Up a School Plan.
- Open the confirmation link we email to your school address.
- Continue to checkout.
This works from school and university email addresses, such as you@yourschool.edu.
Inviting Students and Teachers
Open the school plan from My Account and paste school email addresses into Invite people, one per line or separated by commas. Each person gets an email with a link to join.
Joining a School Plan
Open the link from the invitation email and create an account, or sign in to one you already have. An existing account keeps its scripts and switches to your school email address, which is what you sign in with from then on.
Managing Members
From the school plan screen you can:
- Resend or cancel an invitation
- Remove someone from the plan
- Make a colleague an admin, so they can invite and remove people too
- Hand the plan to another member
Anyone removed from the plan keeps their account and their scripts.
Billing
The plan is billed monthly. The owner can update the payment method or cancel from Manage Billing on the school plan screen. If the plan ends, everyone on it goes back to their own plan until it is renewed.
What Teachers Can See
Teachers see the names and email addresses of the people on the plan, not their scripts. To share work, a student uses a share link or invites a collaborator.
